Vaping Dry Herbs: What You Need to Keep in Mind
Many people think that it’s easy to use a dry herb vape pen. Well, it’s not a bad idea to just look into some tips to make the most out of your pen. Also, don’t forget that the yocan products are the best ones on the market.
We’ve written this article to give you those tips and we’re hoping your vaping experience will get better after finishing this article.
Only fresh herbs allowed
As a general rule, the vape experience will be as good as the material you are using. If the material is old or stale, old and stale you’re going to taste. You need to let your herbs to cure and dry out as they’re supposed to – this means you won’t let them go bone dry. Moisture is one thing that matter when it comes to vaping. Keep in mind that it needs to be moist when you touch it, but not wet that you can squeeze drops out of it.
Grind them as you should
Many people like going old fashion – they use their fingers and a pair of small scissors to grind up the herbs, but that doesn’t mean that it’s the best way. You can buy a special grinder. You should look for a medium grind – not too small though. You will not burn it or overcook it, so it will allow you to have the best experience. You’ll also not be wasting precious bud by undercooking it – you won’t even have to worry about that.
The temperature should be just right
The temperature of the vape should be another important thing for you and your vaping experience. You’ll need it to be between 180 and 210 Celsius, which is closer to the upper limit if you want something really good, or you can choose the 180 centigrade, if you’re looking for yourself working properly after your session. It really depends on what you want and on your style. There are many cannabinoids out there and they evaporate at different temperatures – hence the different levels of high. You might want to experience a bit until you find what’s best for you.
Do not burn your herbs
If you don’t care that much about the vaping temperature, just try not to burn them. If you burn them, this will bring nothing good to your experience – it will only bring wasted bud, good wasted bud.
As a general rule, you should never push your vape pen to its limits – keep in mind that you’re vaping some flowers. As said earlier, it’s good to experience to find out what suits you best, so you might want to change the settings for each vape sessions – at least from time to time. The temperature depends on how tightly you packed your chamber, on how moist your herbs are, and some other factors, too.
If you taste joint, then it’s burned.
