The Egg Diet

Similar to the Atkins diet, the Egg diet is based on a low carbohydrate eating plan, which allows eating unlimited amounts of eggs, lean meat, and fat.

The main source of protein in this diet comes from eggs. They contain all the essential amino acids in the correct proportions and they are also a significant source of vitamins B2, B12, D, E, and folate, in addition to iron. The eggs keep you full for a longer time.Egg diet

Like any other low carb diet, the egg diet is based on the idea that, eating meals high in proteins, the body is deprived by its main source of energy- the carbohydrates, so it has to convert the fat stored into the adipose tissue into glucose.
