Quick Toning Workout – The Best Workout For Total Body Toning

Looking for a quick toning workout that will give you a total body workout?  Well here it is.

If you don’t have much time to exercise and want a toning workout that gives you a lot of bang for your buck then take a look at this.

The program I’m talking about is done with a kettle bell and only takes 20 minutes three times a week.  So for an hour a week you will get not only a strength training workout but a cardio workout as well.    Two workouts in one – that makes me happy!!

I’m all for short workouts that provide lots of benefits.   This one is not only very effective, but it’s also fun.

Research has shown that one 20 minute kettle bell workout gives you more toning and fat fighting benefits than 30 minutes of traditional weight lifting AND 30 minutes of exercise on a treadmill.

By swinging the kettle bell you are increasing your heart rate and targeting more muscle groups.   This fun routine can triple your calorie burn in just a short time.    I think that you will be pleased with the results.

Just like with regular weights, there are are basic moves and routines with the kettle bell.   When you purchase a kettle bell, there are instructions on the basic moves inside the package.   The kettle bell weight that you start out with will depend on your fitness level.  The one most people start out with is 5 to 8 pounds.

Some people are comfortable doing these exercises on their own while others may want to follow a kettle bell DVD workout.

The most effective one is the squat and swing move.  In this move you stand with your feet hip width apart and hold the kettle bell handle with both hands – perform a regular squat while swinging the kettle bell between your legs.  As you begin to straighten up, pull the kettle bell up to shoulder height – your arms should be straight out in front of you.    This move targets your legs, hips and butt.  You can really feel it.

The unique way that you hold a kettle bell challenges every muscle in your body – especially your core.

With a kettle bell you can perform any strength training exercise that you normally do with your dumb bells. You will find that working out with a Kettle bell is more comfortable and you get much better results.

Working out with kettle bells helps to tone up flabby arms and will firm up your whole body.  I think you will find that it is a nice change from your regular strength toning workout.   When you enjoy a workout you will do it more often.
