Lose Weight with GM Indian Vegetarian Diet
Not many people embrace the idea of dieting. In fact, the mere suggestion of it can suddenly conjure up all sorts of images and sacrifices – and all in the name of losing a few extra pounds. But the good news is, it needn’t be difficult and better than that, it doesn’t have to be a long term commitment either! How? By simply following the 7 day GM Diet Vegetarian Plan you can lose weight with ease.
As the name suggests, the GM Diet Vegetarian Plan concentrates on increasing your overall intake of fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, one thing you will have to sacrifice is alcohol – and for as long as possible since it dramatically increases the level of uric acid in the body which, in turn, results in water retention. However, don’t despair. You’ll soon start to see the benefits.
How to maximize weight loss potential under the GM plan!
You need to drink as much water as possible – ideally up to 10 glasses every day. If you’re not at your desk, or home, then be sure to carry a bottle of water with you. Remember, you can always add a little flavor with natural juices; especially if it encourages you to drink more water. The key thing is to keep boosting your metabolism and helping your body adjust to your new diet.
So here’s how to get started …
Day 1:
Being totally truthful, you can expect this to be your hardest day BUT once you’ve got through it, you’re well on your way to losing weight and seeing those stubborn pounds drop off.
For day one you need to consume only fruits – absolutely nothing else. But the good news is, you can eat as many fruits as you like! If possible, try to avoid grapes, bananas, mangoes and litchi and instead concentrate on watermelon, limes, oranges, apples, strawberries, melons and pomegranates. These are all super foods and remember, you can add them to your water for added flavor too!
Day 2:
Try to start the second day of your diet with a boiled potato and a very small teaspoon of butter (if you must!). This will boost your body with added energy and sufficient carbs to get your day started. It’s basically a calorie free day with a decent amount of fiber and nutrients thrown in to maximize results. After that, you should aim to eat nothing but raw or boiled vegetables – but remember, you can have as many of these as you like provided you limit yourself to just one potato a day. You can also add herbs and spices for additional flavoring and don’t forget to maintain your water intake although without using any fruit on your second day, don’t forget!
If you get to the end of day two then you’re definitely onto a winner and you’ll soon start to see the benefits of dieting. Give yourself a pat on the back! You’ve deserved it!
Day 3:
Combining Day 1 and 2, you have Day 3. The diet for Day 3 allows you to eat as much fruits and vegetables as you wish. Drinking adequate quantities of water is advisable. It is better to avoid intake of potatoes on Day 3, as the fruits you take can replenish your carbohydrate requirements. This should be enough to make your body ready to burn the extra pounds. It is natural to experience the temptation to have your favorite food. However, you should not forget the ultimate aim to lose weight. By this time, the lightness of your body should make you feel elated.
Day 4:
There is a time for everything in life. Having belief in your convictions is important. Can you recollect the instructions not to have bananas for the initial three days of the dieting regime? There are no such restrictions on the fourth day. You can have up to six bananas accompanied by four glasses of milk for the entire period of the day. This might seem contradictory because everyone knows that consuming bananas leads to weight gain. Nevertheless, eating them can add potassium and sodium content to the body.
A highly diluted soup preparation of capsicum, garlic, tomatoes, and onions can form your meal for the day. However, the diet permits you to have this preparation once a day. Of course, you should not forget the taste of the fruits and vegetables.
Day 5:
Start Day 5 by celebrating with a delicious meal. You can have your quota of tomatoes, sprouts, and paneer (cottage cheese). Soya chunks can also be a valuable addition to your meal. A tasty soup with the mentioned ingredients can be part of your recipe. Ensure to increase water consumption from this day onwards.
Six tomatoes along with the appropriate content of water can eliminate the uric acid from the body, thereby cleansing it. Water does the detoxifying job whereas the tomatoes make up the fiber and improve the digestion process.
Day 6:
You should not expect Day 6 to be the same as Day 5. Sprouts and cottage cheese along with other vegetables should be fine but remember to exclude the tomatoes. This soup along with plenty of water should be your quota for the day. Of course, the vegetable can take care of the vitamin and fiber content. By this time, you should see a noticeable change. Drinking adequate water should stand you in good stead.
Day 7:
You have come to the end of your diet plan. This should be your biggest day. You can experience a sense of lightness as well as happiness all around. You have the liberty to have fresh fruit juice along with half helping of a chapatti. You can have a light quantity of brown rice and some vegetables as well. Consumption of adequate water should see you complete the diet routine.
