Mint

Aloe Vera
The plant is anti-inflammatory by nature and its antibiotic property cleanses the skin and kills harmful bacteria. The gel of the plant can provide relief from acne sores, due to its cooling and soothing effect. Calendula
It’s antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic by nature. Soak a handful of dried calendula flowers in one cup of boiling water and let it cool. Keep it in a clean jar and refrigerate for about a week and you have a calendula toner ready. The herb is also available in cream products or water based washing products, to work on acne infected skin.

Neem
It is listed among the most potent herbs for blood purifying and detoxifying in the Ayurveda. It is very efficient in maintaining a healthy skin and gives amazing results. Due to its anti-bacterial properties, it is known for its effectiveness in acne herbal remedies and treatment of other skin problems. In the same way calendula, steep the leaves of neem tree in hot water overnight and have a drink the next morning. Lemon Juice
It has astringent and mild antibacterial properties and so the use of its juice, mixed with equal parts of rose water, is one of the easiest herbal remedies for acne. The rose water also has antibacterial properties and somewhat subsides the acidic quality of the lemon juice. Wipe your face with cotton soaked in this mixture and rinse after 15 – 30 minutes.

Milk Thistle
The use of this herb focuses on improving the liver function and thus, enhancing the detoxification process and reducing the occurrence of acne. Milk thistle can be used as a topical solution or taken in the form of capsules. In both ways, it helps in diminishing the appearance of acne, due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Basil
Basil-based oil finds its use in acne treatment. This type of oil can be easily availed in a local health store. Alternatively, get some dried basil leaves and let them stay in a cup of boiling water. Once cooled, dab your acne with cotton soaked in the mixture.

Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and more importantly, indulge in a high-fiber diet. Avoid beverages such as tea, coffee or the likes and foods which contain simple carbohydrates. Following the above mentioned remedies, will help you in clearing the acne effectively and naturally.
