In this article, I am going to explain the natural treatments for constipation. But before I start the discussion, I want to give an overview of Constipation.

Constipation is the opposite of diarrhoea. In this disease there is a blockage in the abdominal area. We find it difficult to excrete the feces. This is basically due to the dryness in the intestines.

Water is very essential to treat constipation. Here tons of water mean, one must drink 3 to 5 litres of water daily. This quantity is prescribed by the doctors. Constipation is due to the lack of water that is why we must drink lots of water daily to minimize the risk of being constipated.
2. Constipation Essential Oils
There are many essential oils for constipation which you can use. Following are some which you can use.
- Castor Oil
- Olive Oil
- Coconut Oil
How to use these Oils?
Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of any of the above-mentioned oil in a cup of warm milk. Mix it thoroughly and use 2 to 3 times a day. Within few hours you will see the results. This is a very effective remedy and you must apply it. This will not only release the blockage of feces but also the gas.
3. Eat Fibre Containing Food
It does not matter if you are constipated or not you must eat foods which contain fibre. Vegetables and fruits are a big source of fibres. It is recommended that you keep a balance in your diet and eat healthy foods.
