Many people have the mistaken belief that to lose weight you have to completely change the way you eat and exercise. This is simply not true – even small changes can make a huge difference.
Instead of using dangerous fad diets, try these weight loss tricks to melt fat and get healthy at the same time.
Sometimes it is a matter of adding particular foods rather than eliminating them – although when you are trying to lose weight it is very important to consume natural whole foods rather than processed chemical laden foods.
Fast Weight Loss Trick Number One
Eat more cucumbers – three to five per day is recommended. Adding cucumbers to your daily diet is an excellent way to easily lose weight.
Cucumbers are a natural diuretic and antioxidant that are filled with vitamins A and C. Diuretics help remove fluids from your system. When these excess fluids are gone you will look and feel much slimmer. Your stomach will no longer be bloated.
Slice up a few and put them in baggies so you can munch on them all day. They are an excellent snack – low in calories and high in fiber. Also make sure you include plenty of them in your salads.
Don’t add salt – that will defeat the purpose. They are delicious without it.
Cucumbers are also fantastic for your skin. So you not only lose weight, but your skin will look better.
Fast Weight Loss Trick Number Two
Eat a broth based soup and salad for dinner each night.
Your last meal of the day should be your lightest meal. Since you don’t have much time left to burn off the calories, it is best to eat your calorie dense foods early in the day and have a light dinner.
You will also sleep better at night when your body is not expending energy to digest a heavy meal. Getting enough sleep is very important for weight loss.

Cabbage soup is another great option. Just make sure you are eating broth based soups and not heavy creamy soups.
I like to make a large pot of soup – enough to freeze some for later and also have dinner for several nights. It saves a lot of time in the evening – just add a salad and you have a tasty dinner.
You can also make a large salad at the beginning of the week – enough to last a few days. Prepare your salads with a variety of different colored vegetables – purple cabbage, red and green peppers, red onions and a variety of greens.
The more colors and variety you have in your vegetables, the more nutrients you are giving your body. The more nutrients your body has, the better it will function.
Fast Weight Loss Trick Number Three
Replace meats with beans and lentils.
Beans and lentils are high in soluble fiber and low in calories compared to meats which are high in calories and low in nutrients.
Eating lots of fiber is one of the easiest ways to shed excess weight. Fiber not only makes you feel full, but it also cleanses your digestive system which helps you lose weight.
You should eat beans or lentils every day. They are high in protein and iron, easy to cook and you can incorporate them into a nice variety of recipes. Beans are also very inexpensive – they can save you a lot of money on your grocery bill.
In keeping with fast weight loss trick number two – you can make delicious bean or lentil soups for your evening meal. Beans are also great on top of a salad – especially chic peas or black beans.
It is easy to cook a pot of beans in your crock pot. Rinse your beans and soak them overnight. In the morning drain them – put fresh water in (to the top of the crockpot) – add pepper and a diced onion. Cook on high for about six hours. Add the salt when your beans are done – adding them early can make them tough.
Lentils don’t need to be soaked -you can just rinse them and cook.
Fast Weight Loss Trick Number Four
Eat slowly.
You have probably heard this before, but if you actually try it you will be amazed at what a difference it makes.
Take smaller bites and thoroughly chew each mouthful. Try to pause in between bites – put your fork or spoon down in between bites.
Most of us are so used to gobbling down our meals that we don’t even realize how fast we are eating.
When you slow down, you can actually enjoy your food more.
Have you ever noticed that when you are having dinner with friends or family and you are doing more talking than eating, that you get full faster and don’t eat as much?
Fast Weight Loss Trick Number Five
Eat more seeds – Chia Seeds and Hemp Heart Seeds.
Incorporating chia seeds or hemp heart seeds into your daily diet is a delicious and nutritious way to help you lose weight.
They are packed with beneficial vitamins and nutrients. These seeds are high in protein and fiber. Eating them will give you lots of energy and keep you feeling full for hours.
You can add them to just about any dish.
Eat either of them in the morning – they are fantastic in oatmeal or in a smoothie – you will feel full until your next meal.
